Super Easy Macaroni Salad

An easy pasta salad, just like you'd get it from a deli at the grocery store! This basic version of the classic pasta salad can be modified to consist of tuna, peas, or whatever extra functions you desire!

Pasta salad is a classic barbecue side dish and snacks! I remember my mom buying small containers of pasta salad from the grocery store when I was a kid, and we'd eat them along with burgers and sausages, you name it.

The classic pasta salad is very easy to make at home, and it tastes exactly the same as what you might expect from buying a pasta salad at the grocery store. With just a few simple ingredients, you can prepare this classic summer side for your next barbecue. Don't forget to check out our other pasta salads if you're looking for something a little different!

The beauty of this recipe is that it is very simple and basic, but it can be modified to suit your tastes. Want to throw some peas? Go for it? Do you think tuna looks good? drop it! There are many ways to alter this recipe, but it is still very tasty in its simplest form.

I actually prefer to eat it as it is written, just because it reminds me of the pasta salad that I ate while growing up from delicious foods, but go ahead and change this recipe however you like.

As I mentioned, pasta salad is easy to prepare. It only takes about 15 minutes of your time, but you will need to refrigerate for about an hour for the best results. You can eat it as it is, but it definitely tastes a little better after it's time to hang out in the fridge.

If you eat it, dry it a little, and stir in a little milk, about 1 tablespoon each time until you get the desired consistency.

* Ingredients :

° 2 cups of pasta (I use whatever in my cupboard)

° 1⁄2 cup of diced cheese (better cheddar or coo jack)

° 1⁄2 cup diced pork

° 1⁄2 cup of Miracle Whip (you can add mayonnaise of your choice)

° 1 tablespoon mustard

* Instructions:

Cook the pasta, rinse and place in the fridge while dicing the cheese and ham.

Mix cold noodles, cheese, and ham in a bowl.

In a separate bowl we mix the miracle whip and mustard. (If it's too sour, mom will put a little sugar in it, about a teaspoon.)

Mix it together and let it cool or serve immediately

Enjoy !
