Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding

Magnolia Bakery is now shipping their popular banana pudding nationwide for the first time! Layered with vanilla wafers and fresh bananas, this creamy banana pudding has fans all over the world, and it just might be the best banana pudding on earth.

New locations have opened all over the world since then, but it's still at its heart a quaint old bakery, with only real and simple ingredients that go into its exquisite selection of desserts.

* Ingredients :

° 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
° 1 1/2 cups ice water
° 1 3.4 oz can of instant vanilla pudding mix
° 3 cups heavy cream
° 1 box of 12 oz Nabisco Nella Wafer
° 4 cups chopped ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)

* instructions :

In a blender or with a paddle and bowl, mix together the condensed milk and cold water until well combined. Add the jelly and continue to mix until the jelly dissolves, about 2 minutes.

Cover the jelly mixture and leave it completely in the refrigerator - for about 3 hours, or you can leave it overnight.

In an electric mixer or with an electric hand mixer, beat heavy cream until peaks form.

Gently mix the pudding mixture and the whipped cream until it is pale yellow and leaves no streaks.

In a large glass bowl or other pretty glass serving dish, place 1/3 layer of indigo chips, 1/3 of a banana, and 1/3 of the cream and repeat twice.

Cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight, until the chips have softened a little.

++ Notes
If this goes on more than overnight, the bananas will change color - I recommend leaving them out and slicing the bananas to put on top of each serving.

Enjoy !
