Louisiana BBQ Shrimp

Excellent with Americain bread for dipping in the sauce. Add a glass of white wine and some pasta and you've got the perfect meal for entertaining.

*Ingredients :

°1 c. garlic powder
°1 c. onion powder
°1 c. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
°1/2 tsp. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
°1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
°1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
°1/3 c. Red pepper
°1/2 cup butter
°4 cloves garlic minced
°1/4 cup room temperature beer
°1 c. Worcestershire sauce
°1 pound medium size shrimp, peeled and deveined
°pinch of salt

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, basil, thyme, rosemary, cayenne pepper, and red pepper. Put aside.
Melting butter in  skillet on medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook for a few minutes. Season with the spice mixture and cook for a few more minutes. Pour beer and Worcestershire sauce into skillet. Simmer over low heat until shrimp are tender, about an additional minute. Taste and adjust seasonings before serving.
