Baked Donuts Recipe

Light buns in the oven (without frying), craving for gluttony while being reasonable, I present to you these ultra-light buns with a brioche texture, lower in calories than the classic oil-bathed buns that are too greasy and sometimes disgusting if they're fried too hard.   A very good alternative to our choice of light.

* Preparation:

In bowl of processorfood, blend lukewarm milk with sugar. Dissolve the crumbled yeast in the milk. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes. Add the butter, salt, and then the beaten egg. Pour the flour, mix the dough and work in a kneading machine fitted with hooks.

Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise until it doubles in size.

Spread the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 1 cm. Cut circles approximately 7 cm long using a cookie cutter. Using a smaller cookie cutter (or socket), poke holes in the center of each circle. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Leave for 30 minutes at room temperature. Heat oven to 180 ° C. Bake the cakes for 8 to 10 minutes. Melt the butter.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it rest for two minutes. Mix sugar with cinnamon. Dip cakes still lukewarm in melted butter on both sides, dip them in cinnamon sugar, and set on a wire rack.
