Pecan Pies cookies

The great taste of pecan pie in mini form, this is what delicious dulce de leche covered cookies bring to you! Discover without delay the recipe for this dessert that will undoubtedly become a holiday classic.


°1/2 cbrown sugar 
°80 ml 15% cooking cream
°5 ml  vanilla extract
°1.25 ml  cinnamon
°1 cup (250 ml) chopped pecans
°500 ml (2 cups) flour
°5 ml (baking powder
°pinch salt
°3/4 cup (180 ml) shortening or softened butter
°180 ml sugar
°1 egg
°1/2 cup (125 ml) dulce de leche

* Steps :

Heat oven 180°C (350°F).
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and ground nuts. Bring to boil, & simmer about 8 to 10 min on low heat. Removing to heat & letting to cool.
In a bowl, mix flour with baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, mix the margarine, sugar and vanilla until you get a creamy texture. Add the egg and my heart.
Gradually mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture and stir until combined.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form 22 balls using about 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of dough each with a spacing of 5 cm (2 inches). Flatten the cookies a little.
With a spoon, form a hollow in the center of each cookie. Divide the pecan mixture into hollows.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. We take it out of the oven and let it cool on a rack.
Top biscuits with dulce de leche.
