The Best Swedish Meatballs

*ingredients:

°500gm minced beef
°250 gm minced pork
°1 small onion finely chopped
°1 clove of garlic, grated
°1/2 tsp. Red pepper
°1/2 cup panko
°1 egg
°Salt and Pepper
°cream sauce
°2 tbsp. butter
°2 tbsp. flour
°2 cups beef broth, low in salt
°1 c. soy sauce
°1 c. Dijon Mustard
°2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
°pinch of nutmeg
°1/2 cup 35% cream

* Preparation :

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix the minced meat with your fingers. Add onions, garlic, paprika, panko and eggs. Generously salt and pepper. Shape small balls.

In a frying pan over medium heat, pour a little oil and fry the meatballs until golden.

Then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.

Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the flour and mix for two minutes using a whisk.

Add meat broth while continuing to mix. Once the mixture has thickened slightly, add the soy sauce, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, then pour the cream and add a pinch of nutmeg. Raise the heat and stir constantly, turning off the heat when the sauce becomes thick enough.

Put the meatballs in the sauce and serve with the dishes of your choice. This dish is delicious with mashed potatoes and green beans.
