Pound-Cake-Lemon-Cream And Cheese


°6 large egg.

°2 c brown sugar.

°1 cup butter, at room temperature.

°2 cups of soft cream cheese.

°4 teaspoons of lemon peel.

°1/2 cup lemon juice.

°2 cups cake flour.

°a pinch of salt.

+For the glaze I used:

°2 tsp butter.

°1 c powder sugar.

°1/2 c lemon juice.

* instructions:

Step 1:

I preheated oven to 350°F and greased tube pan with cook spray.

Step 2:

I have mix flour and salt in a blending bowl.

Step 3:

Then I used an electric mixer and using her bowl, I beat the butter with the cream cheese and brown sugar, added the egg yolks and beat for another 3 minutes.

The fourth step:

I added lemon zest and lemon juice and stirred occasionally.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft and add them to the cake mixture.

Fifth step:

Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake for an hour.

Sixth step:

I removed it from the oven and let it cool, in the meantime I made the glaze by melting the butter in microwave, adding powdered sugar and lemon juice & stirring, to the glaze had a good drizzle texture. 

Seventh step:

I sprinkled the glaze over the cake and left it in the fridge for an hour.
