+DIY bathtub cleaning recipe
*What you will need:
°white vinegar
°Dawn dish soap (blue variety)
°evaporator
*Preparation steps:
1. Heat 1.5 cups of vinegar until it is very hot and close to boiling.
2. Carefully pour hot vinegar to spray bottle and adding 12 ounces (1.5 cups) of dishwashing liquid without the original.
3. Shake to blend.
how to use:
1. Spraying bathtub and shower area with vinegar/dawn mixture to entire surface is cover.
2. Let the cleanser work its magic for 10-20 minutes.
3. Use a cleaning cloth to wipe the bathtub/shower area. Dirt & grime should wipe off simply. Rinse the bathtub/shower area thoroughly with water.
Every time I use this DIY cleaner, I am amazed at the results. My tub gets dirty from the kids and i usually have to scrub and scrub and scrub to get everything clean. Now that I've used the vinegar/dawn it cuts through dirt and wipes off as easily as anything else. The rinse part at the end can get a little soapy (due to Dawn's soap bubble effect), but everything rinses out quickly, leaving a perfectly clean tub. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
