Ingredients :

1 tablespoon of butter, melted
1/2 of a medium onion, chopped
An additional 1/4 cup of melted butter
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
2 cups of half-and-half cream
2 cups of chicken stock
1/2 lb of fresh broccoli
1 cup of carrot, cut into thin strips (julienned)
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
