Ray Drummond has become one of my favorite chefs to watch. Like the majority of us, she is just a regular person trying to create meals that are not only delicious but also economical. Growing up, sausage gravy was a meal I considered a treat.
My mom didn't do that much because my dad wasn't a big fan of ketchup. Strange, I know! However, she did it at least twice a month for us.
Sausage gravy isn't just for cookies! This wonderful sauce and meat can also be served with potatoes or rice. It was my mother's way of serving us this delicious meal. I made a rice bowl out of it. She said that way there were heaps of ketchup that dad would notice.
The sausage sauce is somewhat. You can use a variety of flavoured sausages which can change completely.
