CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES !

 


The best sweet potatoes are easier than you think ! This cheesy fries recipe features a classic creamy sauce and is topped with extra cheese for cheesy french fries that are a total comfort food.

Spotted potatoes may seem complicated and time-consuming, but nothing could be further from the truth. Oyster fries are easy to make, but delicious and satisfying. These potatoes are delicious and full of cheese. They make a great side dish for just about any dinner, and they're so delicious you might want to make them eat on their own!

You'll start with potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips. Then add cream, Parmesan cheese and spices. Top with grated cheddar cheese, and put in the oven for about an hour. Depending on the thickness or thinness of the potato slices, you may need to adjust the baking time. Thicker slices may need an additional 15-30 minutes and thinner slices may be made sooner. If you like a little browning on the cheese layer, you can let it broil for 4-5 minutes of baking time.

* Ingredients :

° 4 large potatoes, peeled
° 1 cup heavy cream
° 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
° 2 cloves minced garlic
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
° 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
° 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

* Instructions :

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9 x 9 or 2 liter baking dish.
Use a mandolin, sharp knife, or food processor to cut the potatoes into thin slices. Transfer all slices to a large mixing bowl.
Pour heavy cream over potatoes and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Add garlic, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Stir them together so that the cheese and spices are evenly dispersed.
Distribute in prepared baking dish. Sprinkling cheddar cheese on top.
