Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings

This recipe is a fall favorite. And it's kid-friendly too! Add to joy by picking your hold apples.

But if you're past that point of the season, or prefer a convenience store buy, luckily for us, you can buy apples any time of the year.

Kids love to roll apple slices in dough and put them on the baking tray. They also like to help stir and add sugar, of course.

Older children can help pour the Mountain Dew dough because you want to be careful to pour it around the dough as much as possible to prevent the dough from getting wet.

* Ingredients :

° 2 Granny Smith apples
° 2 boxes of crescent rolls
° 1 cup butter
° 1 cup sugar
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
