Rotisserie Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

 


Who isn't looking for simple meals made with just a handful of ingredients? I don't know about you, but I'm always on the lookout for easy, healthy dinner recipes that picky eaters won't complain about.

This casserole recipe is easy to make with just six ingredients: grilled chicken, zucchini, stovetop filling, butter, sour cream and a can of creamy chicken soup.

Although it's full of veggies, this main dish is very hearty and comforting. 

* Ingredients


° 1 fully cooked grilled chicken (boneless, skinless, chopped)

° cooking spray

° 1 1/4 cup water

° Half a cup of butter

° 6 ounces or 1 can of quick-cooking stuffing mix (on stove top)

° 1 tablespoon butter

° 1 onion (cubes)

° 3 celery stalks (diced)

° 10 ounces or 1 can of chicken soup

° 10 ounces can or one can of cream of mushroom soup

° 8 oz sour cream

° Salt and black pepper (to taste)


* Instructions :


Preheaat oven to 375°F / 190°C.

Spraying a 9" * 13" baking plate (or two 8" x 8" baking dishes) with cooking spray.

Put the onion and celery mixture on top of the chicken. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake in preheated oven until light brown and creamy (about 45 minutes).

Take it out of the oven and leave it for 10 minutes.
