GarlicShrimpPasta

*Ingredients:

-1 pound medium size shrimp, de-finned and tail removed
-1 pound spaghetti noodles (more or less, depending on family size)
-6-8 garlic cloves, minced according to personal taste
-1/4 cup butter
-olive oil (3 sprays)
-Italian seasoning
-Freshly ground pepper
-red pepper flakes
-salt
-herbs (to taste)

*directions

1 Boil the pasta in the water until tender, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water for later use. I always put some oil, salt and fresh herbs with the pasta when I boil it. Strain and set aside when done.
2 While pasta is boiling, wash shrimp.
3 Melt the butter over a medium heat. Add shrimp.
4 Let cook until slightly pink and beginning to curl. Then add garlic.
5 Cook 5-7 minutes, add oil. Keep stirring until the shrimp are pink and wrapped.
6 Adding pasta to  skillet. Add spices. Add just enough of the reserved pasta water so it doesn't dry out but doesn't swim in the liquid either. Depending on the amount of pasta, that requires half a cup or all of that. Start adding 1/4 and then start from there.
7 Continue to stir all ingredients in the pan until they are all combined and heated through.

Enjoy!
