Grandma's biscuits


°310 ml flour
°2.5 ml of baking soda
°1 ml of salt
°125 ml fat
°90 ml of sugar
°90 ml maple syrup
°1 egg
°250 ml oatmeal
°125 ml chopped peanuts
°125 ml of raisins

* Preparation :

  In a bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Reservation.
  In another bowl, whisk together the shortening, sugar, and maple syrup until smooth.
  Add the egg and beat it vigorously. Invert the contents of the first bowl.
  While stirring, add oatmeal, peanuts and raisins.
  Spoon onto a greased baking tray.
  Bake for 10 minutes (or until the cookies turn golden brown) in a preheated 190°C oven.
