Slow cooker Pot Roast

Roast the vegetables in the slow cooker until soft enough to slice with a fork...

* Ingredients :

°3 sweet potatoes, peel & cube
°4 carrots, peel and chop
°1 onion finely chop
°2 celery stalks cut to cube
°3 lbs (13 kg) roast beef
°Salt and Pepper
°1 tablespoon olive oil
°3/4 cup (190 ml) water
°1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
°1 teaspoon dried beef broth
°1 teaspoon dried basil

* Preparation:

Spray the bottom of the slow cooker with a little oil. Place potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery in the bottom of a slow cooker. Season the barbecue with Standard & Poor's. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over a medium high heat. Built on all sides. Place over the vegetables in the slow cooker. In a bowl, combine water, Worcestershire sauce, broth, and basil. Pour into the slow cooker. Simmer for 10 hours or until meat cracks easily with a fork. Add a little salt and pepper.
