My Grandmother’s Fresh Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

¼ cup melted butter

1 cup flour

¾ cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

¾ cup milk

5-6 peach slices

Additional ¾ cup sugar

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk to create a smooth batter.

Take an 8x8 baking pan and spread the melted butter evenly at the bottom.

Pour your well-mixed batter over the butter layer in the pan.

Arrange the peach slices on top of the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

Sprinkle the additional ¾ cup of sugar over the peach slices.

Bake in an oven that has been preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for a duration of 20 to 30 minutes.

And there you have it! A quick, easy, and delectable cobbler! Serving this treat while it's still warm is my personal preference, but feel free to serve it chilled if that's what you prefer. Give it a go - I'm confident you'll love it as much as I do. Enjoy your homemade peach cobbler!
