Ingredients:
12 oz egg noodles
1 lb Italian sausage
1.5 cups multicolored bell peppers, sliced
1/4 cup onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup white wine
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
Instructions:
Warm 1/2 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet. Brown the Italian sausage and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and garlic for about 3 minutes.
Pour in the white wine, allowing it to simmer until mostly evaporated.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the browned sausage and parsley back into the skillet. Let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
While the sauce simmers, boil the noodles as per package instructions.
Once done, drain the noodles and mix them into the skillet, ensuring an even coating.
